An unforgettable day of faith and unity!
Moments of reflection, prayer and community filled our hearts at the Encounter with the Sorrowful Mother together with our sister Educational Units of the RUEI, strengthening our bonds and renewing our faith.
The Encounter of Our Lady of Sorrows took place https://oyo88.one/ in Quito from May 16 to 19. This event, entitled “Mother, with your love accompany us to heal the world,” brought together groups of students and teachers from the Jesuit Schools Network, as well as members of the Ignatian Youth Network. Its objective was to unite Ignatian educational institutions from across Ecuador for four days in devotion to Our Lady of Sorrows.
Our young Jesuits had the opportunity to deepen their knowledge of the Society of Jesus in Ecuador. They visited the Aurelio Espinosa Pólit Cultural Center and the majestic Church of the Society of Jesus. There, they participated in a special Mass in front of the original painting and in the Chapel of the Miracle of April 20th, in https://ingrid.bike/ a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
